The task In pump connection technology, the installation configuration has to be taken into account and a fault-free electrical wiring is required. Therefore, and due to safety regulations, the electrical installation and assembly of a pump must always be done by a qualified electrician. For hydraulic assembly, usually a mechanic is required. In maintenance and repair work, there may be long downtimes. The necessary work to be peformed by two qualified workers is cost- and time-intensive. DESINA includes a complete concept for standardization and decentralization of the electronic and fluid technical installation of machines and systems. The specifications for the required components were defined in cooperation between the machine tool industry, automotive and supplier industry. DESINA considers proven solutions such as open bus systems, industrial standards for connectors, etc.


The solution BRINKMANN coolant pumps with HAN10 plug connectors for motors up to 5.5 kW and HAN modular plug connectors for motors up to 7.5-10 kW. The HAN10 E series plug connector makes possible easy and efficient connection. The conventional terminal board is replaced by a plug connector, contact points for temperaure monitoring are required next to the winding connections in many cases of application. With the HAN Modular plug connection, the non-wired connection unit is connected to the terminal board (HAN Modular retrofittable)! The selection of the motor mode of operation – star, delta or if applicable Dahlander circuit is perfomed in the mating connector to the pump connection. The required jumpers will be inserted on the cable connection side in the plug connector HAN10 ESS offering two cable connections per contact. Jumpers are not part of the delivery scope! Dahlander circuit The jumper is inserted into the mating connector. Delta circuit The jumpers are inserted into the mating connector.	Ready-made configuration The pump mode is determined by the installed line. Stock keeping of pre-configured pumps is not necessary.. Error-freee assembly Wiring errors are ruled out due to coded plug connectors.. Saving time Downtimes will be reduced and thus production loss costs considerably decreased.. Save costs Pump replacement can be done by one qualified technician alone, usually a mechanic.

In case of delta circuit for direct connection insert jumpers in mating connector! Please ask separately for special design with PTC thermistor.
